Birdi Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Installation Field Technician to support security system installations, programming, and service. This role is hands-on in the field, working with Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection Systems, and related infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, program, test, and maintain security systems, including Access Control panels, CCTV, IDS, video intercoms, and locking hardware.
• Troubleshoot and repair cameras, wiring, power, and network configurations using diagnostic tools.
• Perform cabling (copper and fiber), terminations, and IP/network setups for security devices.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, customer training, and respond to service tickets.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in security system installation, service, and troubleshooting (Access Control & CCTV expertise required).
• Strong skills in wiring, terminations, programming, and network troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with multimeters and IP camera/server configurations.
• Ability to work independently across multiple job sites.
• Clean driving record and eligibility for government badging.
• Degree a plus but not required.
• US .
