Job DescriptionJob OverviewThe Installation Engineer role covers Greater London and focuses entirely on automated gates, barriers and perimeter access systems. As an Installation Engineer, you will work across commercial, industrial and residential sites installing, servicing and fault-finding on Sliding Electric Gates, Speed Gates, Commercial Security Gates, Rising Bollards, Traffic Barriers, Cantilever Sliding Gates, Security Gates for Schools and Bi-Folding Gates. This Installation Engineer position suits someone confident with electromechanical automation and safety systems.As an Installation Engineer, you will handle installation, commissioning, upgrades and reactive maintenance on electromechanical and hydraulic automation, safety devices, access control and control boards. The Installation Engineer will also support a regional on-call rota for emergency gate and barrier call-outs across London.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned maintenance, reactive fault diagnosis and emergency repairs on automatic gates and powered barriersInstall, commission and upgrade electromechanical and hydraulic automation systemsComply with DHF safety standards and site regulationsComplete first and second fix installation work across commercial and residential sitesSupport a regional on-call rota for emergency gate and barrier call-outsWhat We Are Looking ForProven background as a Gate Engineer, Barrier Engineer or Gate Automation SpecialistStrong hands-on experience with CAME, FAAC, BFT, HTC and Eagle Automation systemsConfident electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills with 230V/24V control boardsKnowledge of safety edges, induction loops, photocells and integrated intercom systemsDHF, CSCS or 18th Edition qualifications are desirableFull UK driving licenceWhat We OfferBase salary up to £50,000 DOEOvertime and standby allowances, call-outs paid at a 5-hour minimumFully equipped company van, fuel card, professional power tools, uniform and tablet29 days holiday including bank holidaysCompany pensionPaid manufacturer trainingTake the Next StepIf you're an experienced Installation Engineer based in Greater London, we'd love to speak with you - Apply now or send your CV to start the conversation.TPBN1_UKTJ
