Installation Engineer (Medical)\n\nLocation: North Manchester & Heathrow\n Job Type: Full Time, Permanent\n Salary: £35 - £50k (depending on experience) + Overtime\n\nAbout the Role\n\nTxP are seeking a practical and motivated Medical Installation Technician to support the delivery, installation, and positioning of high‑value medical imaging equipment across the UK and Europe. This is a hands‑on, varied role working closely with internal project teams, external contractors, and customers on-site to ensure successful project execution.\n\nThis position requires flexibility, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to travel and stay away from home regularly.\n\nMain Responsibilities\n\nDeliver and positioning of high‑value medical equipment including CT, MRI, and X‑ray systems\nCarry out on‑site installation tasks such as cabling, final connections, and system cover alignment\nWork closely with project coordinators, client teams, and third‑party contractors to ensure smooth project delivery\nPerform driving, loading/unloading, and manual handling duties across the UK and Europe using specialist equipment\nComplete required documentation, paperwork, and timesheets accurately\nSupport technical centre activities, demo equipment preparation, and general service or maintenance tasks as requiredWhat You Bring\n\nSkills & Experience\n\nA practical aptitude with a strong willingness to learn\nExperience in mechanical and/or electrical installations (field service or installation background desirable)\nExperienced driver with a clean licence, DVLA check will be required\nExcellent communication skills with experience dealing directly with customer contacts\nStrong teamwork skills with a flexible, can‑do attitude and the ability to work independently\nAbility to accurately complete paperwork, timesheets, and reports\nKnowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel\nGood general standard of education \n\nFlexibility Requirements\n\nWillingness to work flexible hours\nPrepared to stay away from home regularly including travel across Europe on occasions\nWilling to work up to two weekends per month (paid overtime)Salary & Benefits\n\nSalary: £35k - £50k (depending on experience)\n28 days holiday, this includes the 8 days Bank/Public Holidays, incrementally increasing after 2 years to a max of 33 days\nAuto‑enrolment into Company Pension Scheme\nDental Care (subject to qualifying period)\nEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP)\nAccess to Company Benefits Platform\nFree on‑site parking\nFree tea and coffee \n\nIf you are interested in this position, please click apply and the team will be in touch
