Sector: Utilities / Engineering\nSalary: From £40,000, DOE\nType: Full-time, Permanent\nWorking Pattern: Monday – Friday\nBenefits: Hybrid working, company vehicle, tools/equipment, pension, 23 days holiday, sick pay, professional development\n\nThe Role\n\nWe're working with a leading provider of SCADA, telemetry, and instrumentation solutions to hire an Installation & Commissioning Engineer for projects across the UK. The role will suit someone with a background in electrical or instrumentation engineering and a passion for delivering high-integrity technical solutions in critical infrastructure environments (e.g. water, utilities, power).\n\nYou'll work independently or as part of a wider technical team delivering on-site installations, configuration, and commissioning of cutting-edge monitoring and communications systems.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * \n\n Survey, install, commission, and support site-based control systems and instrumentation\n\n * \n\n Deliver end-to-end engineering solutions in line with technical and quality standards\n\n * \n\n Liaise with project managers, internal stakeholders, and client asset teams\n\n * \n\n Adhere to customer frameworks and site safety requirements\n\n * \n\n Interpret and work from design documentation, wiring diagrams, and installation specs\n\n * \n\n Maintain accurate commissioning documentation and support timely handover\n\nYou’ll Need\n\n * \n\n 3+ years’ experience in utilities sector (ideally Water)\n\n * \n\n Qualified electrician or instrument technician (C&G, BTEC, NVQ3, or HNC/HND)\n\n * \n\n BS7671 18th Edition certification\n\n * \n\n Hands-on experience with SCADA, PLC/RTUs, HMI systems\n\n * \n\n Experience reading and interpreting electrical/control panel schematics\n\n * \n\n CSCS/ECS, EUSR Water Hygiene card\n\n * \n\n Ability to work methodically under time constraints\n\n * \n\n Excellent communication, initiative, and problem-solving mindset\n\nRequirements\n\n * \n\n Full, clean UK driving licence\n\n * \n\n Right to work in the UK\n\n * \n\n Based in or willing to travel to the Anglian region\n\n * \n\n Commitment to ongoing technical development\n\nWould suit:\nA hands-on electrical/instrumentation engineer with site-based experience in utility infrastructure projects who thrives in a dynamic, field-based role.\n\nHow to Apply:\nPlease send your CV and a short cover letter highlighting your relevant experience and why this role interests you.\n\nAbout Us:\nTeleios Recruitment is an equal opportunity employer.
