Installation Engineer

Location: Greater Manchester Area

Type: Permanent



Salary: Competitive + Company Vehicle

Hours: 47.5 Hours Monday to Friday.



On behalf of our client, a long-established UK leader in specialist building systems, we are recruiting for an experienced Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join their field operations team. This role involves site visits across the North West region, with occasional travel and overnight stays required.



THE ROLE – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



* Install and commission proprietary building control systems to high standards



* Conduct fault-finding and diagnostics on both electrical and mechanical components



* Ensure accurate reporting, documentation, and compliance with H&S procedures



* Work from heights and elevated platforms regularly



* Collaborate with project teams to deliver efficient installations and system commissioning



Ideal Candidate



* Minimum Level 2 C&G/EAL Diploma in Electrical Installations



* Experience with fire alarm systems, low voltage controls, or CCTV systems



* Comfortable with on-site work and flexible travel



* Full UK Driving Licence required



* Prior work in aluminium fabrication, fire alarm, or construction sectors is advantageous
