Job DescriptionELECTRICAL INSTALLATION ENGINEER – BUILDING SERVICES | CAMBRIDGESHIRE Up to £44,000 + company car or car allowance | Permanent | Full-time | Mobile, covering 4 sites across Cambridgeshire and neighbouring areas An established building services and FM provider is recruiting a qualified Electrical Installation Engineer to oversee electrical safety and support engineering teams across multiple sites. This opportunity could suit a Senior Electrical Engineer, Electrical Supervisor or aspiring Electrical Authorised Person. Responsibilities • Support electrical installation, planned maintenance and project activities. • Produce and review RAMS, permits and safe systems of work. • Assess competence of skilled engineers and provide supervision, coaching and technical advice. • Review electrical isolation arrangements, safety compliance and site risks. • Liaise with contractors and management and help resolve technical issues. • Support efficiency improvements and take part in an out-of-hours on-call rota when needed. Essential • Recognised Level 3 electrical qualification and substantial practical electrical experience. • Safe Systems of Work and electrical safety competence. • Experience supervising skilled engineers or contractors. • Full UK driving licence. • Ability to obtain and maintain SC security clearance. Electrical AP qualifications are desirable, NOT essential. Funded training can be provided.
