Installation & Commissioning Engineer
Location: Worcester with extensive UK & international travel
Salary: £(phone number removed) + expenses + company car
Working pattern: Site-based / customer-facing

This is a hands-on Installation & Commissioning Engineer role working on bespoke engine and component test systems installed directly into customer manufacturing environments. No two projects are the same. You’ll be building, integrating, commissioning and troubleshooting one-off, prototype-style systems that combine mechanical assemblies, electrical control panels, PLCs, fluid and pneumatic systems.
The role
You’ll work closely with design engineers and customers to:
Install and commission complex test cells and special-purpose machinery
Integrate PLC-controlled systems (Siemens S7 ) into mechanical builds
Assemble and fault-find across full systems — from rotating machinery to hydraulics (up to 500 bar)
Work with fuel, oil, water, pneumatic and ventilation systems
Support testing, calibration and documentation at customer sites

Confidence fault-finding at system and component level
