Job DescriptionJob DescriptionInstallation Assistant – Semiconductor Austin Staffing, Inc. Is now hiring Installation Assistants with a minimum of 2 years experience in industrial equipment setup or mechanical assembly. This role supports a Lead Technician with install and set-up of semiconductor wafer packaging equipment. We are seeking reliable candidates who are punctual, possess a strong mechanical aptitude, and are interested in a potential long-term career.Job takes place within Samsung Semiconductor in Taylor, TX.Starting Pay: $22 hr.Key Responsibilities

• Installation Support: Assist the Lead Technician with mechanical assembly, leveling, and positioning of semiconductor equipment.
• Mechanical Tasks: Use hand/power tools for parts fastening, cable routing, and basic assembly tasks.
• Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean and safe work environment (6S) and strictly follow safety protocols.
• Operational Support: Accurately follow technical instructions to ensure 100% installation precision.

Working Hours & Schedule

• Shift: Day Shift (Daytime hours)
• Regular Days: Monday to Friday
• Flexibility: Must be available for Overtime (OT) and Weekend work as required by project timelines.

Qualifications (Requirements)

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in equipment installation, mechanical assembly, or related industrial fields.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Safety: OSHA 10-Hour Certification (Must have or be willing to obtain prior to start).
• : Functional English skills for communication and following instructions.
• Physical: Ability to stand for long periods and perform manual labor as needed.
