Job Description

Location: Hybrid - West Midlands based \n Contract: Full-time, permanent \n Are you passionate about using data and insight to shape how regions attract visitors and grow their tourism economies? \n You'll support research, data analysis and evaluation work that informs strategy and policy across tourism, major events and visitor attraction programmes. \n Working collaboratively across teams, you'll help design and deliver insight that drives investment, improves visitor experiences, and supports economic growth.

\n Analyse tourism, economic and event-related data to identify trends and opportunities \n Support delivery of research and evaluation projects, including managing data and reporting processes \n Contribute to the commissioning and quality assurance of external research \n Work collaboratively with public sector, academic and industry partners to share insights and best practice \n Maintain and enhance core datasets, ensuring consistency and data integrity \n Confidence using data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI or similar) \n Excellent written and verbal communication - able to translate data into meaningful insights \n Strong organisational and project coordination ability \n This position is ideal for someone looking to take the next step from a research or data-focused role into a more strategic and outward-facing position. \n Influence real regional strategy through data and insight \n Competitive salary up to £40,000 with hybrid working flexibility \n If you're an analytically minded professional who enjoys turning data into meaningful impact, we'd love to hear from you.
