The role involves facilitating innovation meetings, proposing new solutions to clients, ensuring compliance with Veolia Waste and Operational standards through site audits and safety observations, evaluating disposal routes for environmental efficiency, and maintaining quality control through risk assessments and method statements. \n\nThis position is crucial in balancing operational effectiveness with sustainability goals while meeting client requirements and reducing carbon footprint through strategic waste hierarchy\n \nimplementation.\n\nTo be a part of and present at customers cross collaboration meetings with other suppliers\n \nTo use IT systems (both Veolia and Customers) to generate transport documents, reference safety data and when needed to generate quotes\n \nBrining new innovation ideas to the customer.\n \nTo make sure any new innovation ideas are implemented efficiently and to budget.\n \nAttending client and non-client facing meetings both on and off site and online.\n \nResponsibility to maintain company property to a good standard\n \nEnsuring all waste disposal routes used are the best for the clients needs\n \nPerform other reasonable duties as requested by their manager\n \nComplete Audits of both process and service to ensure compliance and complete Root Cause analysis on any failures identified.\n \nHelping Veolia and our Client reach net zero targets\n \nMaintaining Veolia's Ecological transformation plan on the client site\n \nCompletion of weekly and monthly reports including those on the client network.\n \nCreate, update and manage records as per Veolia Minimum Requirements (VMR)\n \nParticipate in Corporate Social Responsibility projects\n \nStay up to date on waste legislation changes and industry standards\n \nOffering new innovation idea's specific for the client and implementing them as efficiently as possible.\n \nSupporting Veolia and the client reach net zero targets.\n \nMaking sure Veolia are offering the client the most ecological ways of disposing of their wastes.\n\nWhat are we looking for?\n\nBackground in a waste environment.\n \nPrevious experience of working in innovation/audit/environmental.\n \nProven experience in assurance-related tasks within a professional services firm, ideally at Manager grade.\n \nStrong client handling and high-quality assurance delivery experience.\n \nA proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.\n \nAble to provide practical, proactive business advice for clients.\n \nAdvanced knowledge of waste treatment technologies.\n \nExperience with waste tracking systems.\n \nCurrent, or able to obtain minimum SC and DV security clearance.\n\nWhat's next?\n\nApply today, so we can make a difference for to come.\n\nWe're proud to have been named as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work for three consecutive years in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
