Position: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Pay: $35-$40hr (for Higher-level experience in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems)

 

Position Summary:

Our client, a leading precision manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of manufacturing machinery and facility systems. This role requires a strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical wiring, and plumbing. The technician will be responsible for maintaining injection molding equipment, CNC machinery, and general building systems to support efficient and uninterrupted production.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance and repair work on production machinery and facility equipment.
  • Respond to emergency repair requests promptly and effectively.
  • Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and work orders to carry out maintenance procedures.
  • Assist with the installation of new machinery, systems, and related infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure completion of external maintenance projects.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to identify and implement improvements.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of maintenance work and equipment performance.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Document maintenance activities through written reports or digital systems.
  • Adhere to quality system standards, including AS9100 requirements.
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and support co-workers as needed.
  • Conduct yourself in a professional and ethical manner, aligned with the company’s core values.
  • Complete other duties or special projects as assigned.

Education, Skills & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or trade certification is a plus.
  • Prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment —ideally with injection molding or CNC machinery.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and power tools.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and manuals.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and safe work practices .
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and work in varying physical positions throughout the shift.
  • Basic computer and math skills required.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Willingness to work occasional flexible hours or overtime, as needed.
