Infrastructure Tester x2\n\nLocation: Hampshire (Onsite)\nDuration: 18 Months\nClearance: DV Clearance required (Active)\n\nRate: £450 - £550 a day per day - Outside IR35\n\nWe are seeking an experienced DV Cleared Infrastructure Tester to join a major secure government programme based on-site in Basingstoke. This is a hands-on testing role focused on validating and assuring complex Zero Trust Infrastructure environments supporting mission-critical services.\n\nWorking within a highly secure delivery team, you will be responsible for planning, executing and reporting infrastructure testing activities across a range of technologies, ensuring solutions are robust, secure and fit for operational deployment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesign and execute infrastructure test plans, test cases and test scripts.\nValidate Zero Trust architecture components and supporting infrastructure.\nPerform end-to-end testing across servers, networks, security controls and integrations.\nVerify deployments, configurations and environment readiness.\nIdentify, document and track defects through to resolution.\nSupport system integration, functional, non-functional and operational testing activities.\nWork closely with engineers, architects, security specialists and delivery teams.\nProduce clear test evidence, reports and assurance documentation.\nContribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.\n\nEssential Skills & Experience\n\nActive UK DV Clearance.\nStrong hands-on infrastructure testing experience within secure environments.\nExperience testing complex enterprise infrastructure solutions.\nKnowledge of Zero Trust principles and security architectures.\nUnderstanding of Windows and Linux server environments.\nExperience testing network infrastructure, authentication services and security controls.\nFamiliarity with virtualised and cloud-based environments.\nStrong defect management and test reporting skills.\nExcellent stakeholder communication and documentation abilities. \n\nIf you'd like to discuss this Infrastructure Tester role in more detail, please send your updated CV to (url removed) and I will get in touch
