Job Title: Project Manager – Managed File Transfer

Duration: long-term contract

Location: Sheffield (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite, 2 Remote)

Contract: Long Term (Inside IR35)

Overview:

We're looking for a Project Manager with strong experience in MFT (Managed File Transfer), ideally with IBM Connect:Direct, to lead modernization initiatives. Must have a solid background in tech/infrastructure projects within financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead MFT infrastructure upgrades and security enhancements.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, security, and ops teams to deliver secure file transfer workflows.
• Manage vendors and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
• Track progress, risks, and report to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering tech/infrastructure projects in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of MFT, ideally IBM Connect:Direct.
• Familiar with secure file transfer protocols and automation tools.
• Experience in MFT modernization/uplift initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder and risk management skills.
