An Infrastructure Engineer role supporting a diverse hybrid IT environment, blending operational support with project delivery. Working within the cyber security and infrastructure team, you'll manage Windows Server environments, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and contribute to a transition toward cloud-first solutions.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nManaging and optimising virtualised environments\nSupporting Azure adoption and hybrid cloud solutions\nMaintaining core services (AD, DNS, DHCP) and planning Entra ID migration\nEnsuring infrastructure meets security and compliance standards (PCI DSS, ISO 27001, GDPR)\nDelivering 2nd/3rd line support and resolving complex issues\nSupporting disaster recovery, backup, and monitoring processes\nActing as a design authority for infrastructure solutions\nContributing to infrastructure strategy and continuous improvementProfile\n\nYou will have:\n\n3+ years' experience in infrastructure or systems administration\nStrong Windows Server and Active Directory expertise\nExperience with VMware or Hyper-V\nKnowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls)\nExposure to Azure and hybrid cloud environments\nUnderstanding of infrastructure security and compliance frameworksYou'll also be:\n\nA strong problem-solver with attention to detail\nComfortable working across both support and project work\nA collaborative team player with clear communication skills\nProactive with a focus on continuous improvement\nDesirable experience includes Azure migrations, scripting/automation, PCI DSS environments, and working within the charity or public sector.Job Offer\n\nOpportunity to lead cloud transformation initiatives\nRemote working pattern, with occasional office visits (travel expenses are paid).\nExposure to modern Azure technologies\nCollaborative and purpose-driven environment\nOngoing learning and development opportunities\nA salary of £46,000 and a competitive benefits package
