Senior Infrastructure Engineer - eDV ClearedCheltenham (Full-Time Onsite)Salary: Up to £55,000 + Excellent BenefitsClearance: eDV required for high-side IT accessTo apply, email:An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a secure, mission-critical environment supporting some of the UK's most sensitive technology programmes.This is a fully onsite role based in Cheltenham , working within a highly collaborative technical team responsible for maintaining and enhancing enterprise , directory and infrastructure services across a complex multi-domain environment.Due to the nature of the work, active eDV clearance is essential .The RoleYou'll play a key role in the administration, maintenance and continuous improvement of enterprise directory services, ensuring secure, reliable and resilient infrastructure that supports critical operational systems.Working as part of a specialist team, you'll contribute to both business-as-usual support and ongoing infrastructure enhancement projects, helping to deliver secure and scalable solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and maintain enterprise Active Directory environments.Support and access management, including user lifecycle and access control.Design, deploy and manage Group Policy Objects across complex environments.Support and troubleshoot SQL-based systems, producing queries and reports to aid operational support.Configure and maintain secure multi-domain print management solutions.Deliver third-line support, patching, upgrades and lifecycle activities in line with agreed service levels.Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to improve platform resilience and performance.Skills & ExperienceWe're looking for candidates with experience in:Enterprise Active Directory administration, including Domain Controllers, DNS, DHCP and replication.SQL querying, reporting and troubleshooting within complex production environments.Group Policy design, implementation and troubleshooting. and access management within secure enterprise environments.Supporting critical infrastructure under SLA-driven operational models.Desirable ExperienceExperience in any of the following would be advantageous:PowerShell scripting and automation.Privileged Access Workstations (PAWs).Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).Hybrid technologies.CI/CD principles and infrastructure automation.What's on OfferSalary up to £55,00025 days annual leave, with the option to purchase additional holidayGenerous pension contributionPrivate healthcareLife assuranceAdditional security clearance allowanceOngoing training and professional developmentOpportunity to work on nationally significant, cutting-edge technology programmesPlease note: Due to the highly secure nature of this role, applicants must hold active eDV (Enhanced Developed Vetting) clearance and be eligible to work full-time onsite in Cheltenham.TPBN1_UKTJ
