Infrastructure Architect / Engineer

Summary:

We’re looking for a hands-on Cloud Infrastructure Engineer/Architect who can design and implement modern, reliable, and secure IaaS environments in AWS and Azure. You’ll lead infrastructure architecture across environments, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and compliance—all while automating wherever possible.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and evolve cloud infrastructure (compute, storage, network, IAM) in Azure and AWS
• Build infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, etc)
• Define and implement high-availability disaster recovery, and backup strategies for critical services
• Work closely with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to create infrastructure that supports modern workloads (containers, serverless, etc.)
• Implement cloud cost management and optimization practices
• Define and maintain secure and scalable landing zones, network segmentation, and shared services
• Lead architecture reviews, provide documentation, and mentor less experienced engineers
• Build automated guardrails to enforce compliance, tagging, and policy-as-code 
• Standardize deployment patterns and modular templates across the org

You Should Have:

• 7+ years in infrastructure or cloud engineering roles, with at least 3 focused on architecture
• Deep experience with Azure and AWS—you should be able to diagram and build a production-grade environment from scratch
• Strong grasp of cloud networking, IAM, RBAC, and logging/monitoring solutions
• Experience building secure-by-default cloud environments (least privilege, encryption, audit logging)
• Proficiency in Terraform (or similar IaC tools), Git, and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or Python)
• Understanding of container platforms (AKS, ECS, EKS) and how to design supporting infrastructure
• Experience working in environments with compliance needs (HIPAA, SOC2, etc.)
