Job Summary


B&A is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Application and Database SME – Lead to join a high-impact federal program. As a key technical authority, you will provide deep subject matter expertise in Oracle EBS and related technologies, leading highly complex technical solutions and innovation efforts. You will collaborate with executive-level project teams, manage cross-functional design and operational technical teams, and deliver expert-level recommendations and system improvements for enterprise-scale Oracle platforms.

This position plays a mission-critical role in supporting secure, scalable, and high-performing infrastructure systems for a federal agency and must exhibit leadership, innovation, and precision in execution.


Responsibilities

  • Lead design, development, support, and enhancement of complex infrastructure solutions for Oracle-based enterprise applications.
  • Administer, troubleshoot, and optimize the following Oracle technologies:
  • Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2+
  • Oracle Database
  • Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Active Data Guard, GoldenGate
  • Oracle Fusion Middleware (SOA, OAM, OIM)
  • Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE), Hyperion, EDQ, UPK, and GRC tools
  • Perform database performance tuning and environment cloning within Oracle EBS environments.
  • Lead and manage technical design and operational teams supporting enterprise Oracle Fusion Middleware platforms for environments with over 300,000 production users.
  • Serve as technical expert and advisor on executive-level project teams, offering direction and solution alternatives.
  • Apply advanced technical principles to develop innovative, enterprise-class solutions to unusually complex problems.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables and documentation, ensuring technical reports and analysis are clear, comprehensive, and timely.
  • Ensure full compliance with security and operational policies in a DoD/Federal environment.

Education and Experience

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure and database environments.
  • Experience supporting DoD or Federal Oracle shared service providers on Oracle EBS R12.2 or higher platforms.

Required Skills

  • Strong command of the English , with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced Oracle technologies and best practices in infrastructure design, security, and performance optimization.
  • Proven ability to work independently and handle complex, high-visibility technical challenges.

Desired Skills

  • Prior experience leading enterprise Oracle infrastructure platforms supporting 300K+ users.
  • Familiarity with federal acquisition and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience managing cross-functional IT teams in a high-availability, high-security environment.
  • Technical certifications in Oracle Database, Middleware, or Security solutions are a plus.
  • Proven ability to contribute to the development of new principles, architectures, and innovation strategies.
