IT Security Engineering Manager – Hospitality Sector

A leading UK-based hospitality organisation is seeking an experienced IT Security Engineering Manager to lead its cybersecurity engineering team. The role focuses on securing business-critical systems and guest data across digital platforms and internal infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of security engineers.
• Manage and optimise security tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR, DLP, firewalls).
• Oversee vendor and MSSP relationships.
• Define the security tooling strategy and governance framework.
• Support incident response and produce regular security reports.

Requirements:

• 10+ years in information security, including 3–5 years in a security engineering capacity.
• Strong knowledge of modern security technologies, scripting, and automation.
• Leadership experience in IT security, ideally in service-focused industries.
• Understanding of endpoint, network, and data security within compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).

Certifications:

CISSP, CEH, Security+, GCIH, or similar.
