IT Program Manager

San Jose, CA

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Make sure project plans are established and executed

• Oversee the activities of different project teams

• Review and/or approve adjustments in project costs

• Schedule and oversee meetings for IT projects

• Make sure IT project is being executed and carried out

• Oversee the recruitment of qualified persons that will work on each team

• Mentoring and managing a small team

• Work with vendors where necessary to ensure project plans are delivered on time and on budget

• Manage communications with business users and setting accurate expectations for IT projects

• The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing, and other duties will be assigned based on the position's role within the business unit

• Oversee end-to-end delivery lifecycle: requirements, architecture review, build, SIT/UAT coordination, deployment, and post-production support

• Own program roadmap, sprint planning, quarterly release governance, and backlog prioritization

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Work experience in IT project management

• Strong familiarity with Oracle and integrations to other Cloud applications (ie. Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc)

• Good understanding of HRIS (Human Resources Information) system, ERP (Enterprise Cloud Resource Planning) system

• Experience managing a small team

• Strong ability to work within a team setting

• Excellent leadership qualities

• Good coordinating and organizational abilities

• Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary

• Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude

• Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position

• Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player

• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others
