Job Description

A snapshot of the role:

• Take overall responsibility for internal IT provision and infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain core systems, including Microsoft 365, networking, and cloud environments.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support when required, ensuring smooth running of all systems.
• Coordinate external suppliers and service providers when specialist support is needed.
• Lead on projects to improve security, efficiency, and automation across the business.
• Support and guide the team on new technology especially around AI tools and innovation.
• Maintain and develop backups, storage, and recovery systems.
• Oversee and support a junior team member.

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Proven experience in a 2nd and 3rd line technical support role, ideally within an managed service provider.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, networking, and cloud systems.
• Confidence to work independently and take full ownership of internal IT operations.
• Excellent communication skills and able to explain technical concepts clearly to colleagues.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and enthusiasm for continuous improvement.
• Interest or experience in AI technologies would be a bonus!
