Information Systems Assistant - Laboratory Express

About the Role

Laboratory Express is hiring an Information Systems Assistant to support our laboratory information systems, database management, and technology operations. Perfect for tech-savvy professionals seeking to apply IT skills in the growing healthcare technology sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update laboratory information systems and electronic databases

• Provide technical support for laboratory software and computer systems

• Enter and verify data accuracy in laboratory management systems

• Generate reports and extract data from multiple information systems

• Assist with system upgrades, installations, and user training

• Support troubleshooting of computer hardware and software issues

• Coordinate with IT vendors and maintain system documentation

Requirements

• High school diploma required; Associate's degree in IT or related field

• Strong computer skills and experience with database management

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn specialized software

• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail for technical issues

• Experience with help desk, technical support, or system administration a plus

• No laboratory systems experience required - comprehensive training in healthcare IT and laboratory software provided!
