Job Description

Join our production facility in Danbury, CT, as a Maintenance Technician / General Mechanical and help maintain, repair, and improve large-scale manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced chemical production setting.

Location: Danbury, CT

Shifts: 2nd Shift: Mon–Fri, 2:30pm–11:00pm

3rd Shift: Sun–Fri, 10:30pm–7:00am

Pay: $55,000–$70,000 per year (based on experience)

What You’ll Do:

• Perform maintenance, installation, and repair of plumbing and mechanical systems (steam, water, gas, drainage, etc.)
• Operate tools such as pipe cutters, threading machines, reamers, and other plumbing/mechanical tools
• Assist with preassembly and installation of production system components
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and modify production and facility equipment
• Support building system maintenance and safety inspections
• Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery as needed
• Follow all environmental, safety, and maintenance policies

What You Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED plus 3+ years of mechanical or plumbing maintenance experience
• (technical certification or license in a plumbing-related field may substitute for experience)
• Strong mechanical knowledge of pumps, boilers, heaters, and related systems
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals and record operational data
• Experience with HVAC and plumbing system maintenance
• Skilled use of hand and power tools
• Reliable, safety-focused, and eager to grow
