Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team in building high-quality machines and equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components, subassemblies, and complete machinery according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions. You will work closely with engineers, machinists, and other team members to ensure the final product meets quality, safety, and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and full machines using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.

Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and assembly instructions to determine required assembly steps.

Fit, align, and adjust parts to meet specifications and ensure proper mechanical operation.

Install hardware such as bearings, shafts, gears, and other mechanical parts.

Perform inspections during and after assembly to ensure accuracy, alignment, and adherence to quality standards.

Identify and report any defects, missing parts, or issues during the assembly process.

Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to resolve technical or assembly-related problems.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company safety policies.

Assist with machine testing, troubleshooting, and adjustments before shipment.

Document work performed and complete assembly checklists as required.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical assembly or related field .

2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in a machine-building or industrial manufacturing environment.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and precision measuring devices.

Knowledge of mechanical systems, fasteners, and industrial assembly practices.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and quality.
Skills

Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical components in machine assembly.

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement principles.

Basic welding or machining skills are a plus.
