We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team, servicing our sites in Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance and cleanliness of all wash and building systems. Additionally, you will oversee the efficiency and effectiveness of chemicals, conduct routine maintenance, monitor wash chemistry, and support the development of operations personnel in maintenance and wash quality. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to fulfill these responsibilities.
This role requires a strong understanding of hydraulics, plumbing, pneumatics, electrical, and mechanical systems. You will travel between sites within the market to perform routine maintenance and address unexpected repairs.
Building strong relationships with the operations team and onsite staff is essential.
Additionally, you will collaborate with the regional team to identify and execute high-priority projects and implement new technologies.
Attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a passion for fostering a culture of partnership and pride in workmanship are essential for this role..
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years or more experience in Industrial and Production maintenance and/or Car Wash Maintenance.
- Demonstrated extensive knowledge in at least four of the following disciplines: Electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and welding.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and on-call hours.
- Sense of urgency and ability to perform under stress.
- Great attitude and desire to teach and train Operations personnel in Maintenance
- Self-motivated and driven.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, stand for extended periods of time , climb ladders and perform repetitive motions.
- Able to fill out and update work order tickets as well as complete a daily report summarizing task completed.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and drug test.
