Job Summary:
The client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facilities to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. This is a hands-on role requiring mechanical, electrical, and preventative maintenance knowledge in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a variety of production machinery
- Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment as scheduled
- Respond to equipment breakdowns quickly to minimize production delays
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Install and commission new equipment or machinery modifications
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and PPE requirements
- Assist with facility maintenance tasks such as HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and building repairs as needed
- Participate in training and cross-functional team initiatives
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and schematics
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and equipment manuals
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, sensors, motors, and conveyors
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs., stand for long periods, and work in varying environmental conditions
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as needed

- Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field
- Experience in plastic manufacturing or high-speed packaging environments
- Knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA standards, and 5S principles
