Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are a custom glass manufacturer in Anaheim, CA ready to hire an Industrial Maintenance Technician! As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the regular maintenance of all production machines. To be successful in this position you will install, repair, erect, dismantle, assemble, and maintain all plant machinery, equipment, structures, and electrical/electronic equipment and component parts.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain all production machines.
• Weld, braze, scrape, solder, cut, etc. various metals necessary for maintenance repairs.
• Fabricate new components and equipment. (Welding, Grinding)
• Perform a variety of trade functions such as plumbing, masonry, carpentry, and sheet metal work.
• Lift 50 lbs. daily.
• Perform extensive mechanical movements such as, wrenching, twisting, and operating basic hand tools.
• Work in sometime extreme environments related to temperature and loud noises.
• Stand, sit, bend for short periods of time throughout workday.

Qualifications

• 3+ yrs. of repair and maintenance of production equipment experience.
• Solid knowledge and comprehension of Work Orders, Manuals, and Schematics in English.
• Strong fractional and metric mathematic skills.
• Good knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient fabrication skills (welding and grinding).
• Basic computer skills
• Basic knowledge of Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures.
• Must understand and follow safety and maintenance procedures of machines.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM -4:30 PM
• Must work OT.
