The Role

As our Industrial Maintenance Technician, you’ll help keep our facility running smoothly by performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment installations. You’ll be working around our machine shop, occasionally assisting with forklift maintenance, and handling a variety of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing tasks. This is an entry-level role with on-the-job training, so if you're mechanically inclined and ready to learn, we want to hear from you.

This role is full-time, on-site, with working hours from 6:00 AM to 2:45 PM. Occasional overtime is possible.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues throughout the facility.
  • Perform routine inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments to equipment to ensure optimal performance and reduce breakdowns.
  • Assist in installing and assembling new equipment, making sure it is operating safely and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, preventative maintenance, and equipment history.
  • Ensure all procedures and processes adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Operate a forklift, man-lift, shop fabricating equipment, and power hand tools as necessary for maintenance tasks

Qualifications

  • A strong interest in mechanical work and strong analytical problem-solving skills to effectively troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • A willingness to learn new skills and follow direction, in-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance is beneficial.
  • A commitment to working safely and following procedures, familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations is important for ensuring workplace safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Basic English communication skills, with bilingual Spanish/English
  • A dependable, punctual, and team-oriented approach
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required

Compensation

  • $30.00 - $39.00 hourly, based on experience
  • Participation in the Premier Eurocase benefits program (subject to change on an annual basis)
