Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent Tier 1 automotive supplier in the Birmingham, AL area, is seeking skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join their 2nd shift team! This is an advanced manufacturing facility offering excellent pay, full benefits, 401(k) with company match, and profit-sharing opportunities.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Summary

• Pay: $30.00 – $36.00+/hour (based on experience)

• Schedule:

  • 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM (with some Saturday overtime)

  • Note: 1 week of training on 1st Shift (5:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

• Employment Type: Full-Time | Hourly | Weekly Pay

Industrial Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment such as stamping presses, robotics, conveyors, and PLC-controlled systems.

• Respond quickly to production equipment issues to minimize downtime.

• Document maintenance activities accurately and follow all safety protocols.

• Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis initiatives.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (automotive ).

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and PLC systems.

• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
