Our client, a family owned metal processing company in Detroit, is looking to add to their team with additional Maintenance Technicians on each of their three shifts! Great opportunity for a well rounded machine maintenance person with experience in mechanical, electrical and plumbing. These positions are critical to keeping the lines up and running and production moving. You’ll be trouble shooting issues and drawing on your problem solving and technical knowledge to help fix these machines and keep things running smoothly.

The right candidate will have:

• Minimum five years’ experience in machine maintenance, maintenance mechanic, etc.
• Ability to dismantle and reassemble components (this is NOT a simple part swap role, it will require problem solving and investigating to find the issue)
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical, familiarity with plumbing.
• Industrial, NOT residential/commercial experience
• Sense of urgency in a fast paced environment
• MUST be able to pass background check, drug screen and physical

Great opportunity for a career minded individual who wants to be part of a growing, but established company. The shifts will be open to first, second or third. Likely 45 hours/week on a regular basis, plus possible OT on some Saturdays (rotating schedule). Hourly rate range of $24 - $36/hr. Benefit package includes 401k, continuing education classes, medical insurance, PTO and profit sharing program. **Positions open due to retirements of long term employees (40+ yrs on team).
