Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and will be instrumental in minimizing downtime and ensuring the safe, efficient operation of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions using schematics, technical manuals, and testing tools.

  • Assist in the installation, testing, and startup of new machinery or equipment upgrades.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in CMMS or manual logs.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and safety teams to support continuous improvement.

  • Follow and enforce all safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and company policies.

  • Order parts and supplies as needed; assist with inventory management.

  • Support facility projects and participate in shutdown maintenance efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree or certifications .

  • Minimum of 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and basic machine tools.

  • Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and automated systems is a plus.

  • Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and electrical schematics.

  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed.

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field.

  • OSHA 10/30 or other safety certifications.

  • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

  • Welding and fabrication skills a plus.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S principles.
