We are currently looking for an Industrial Maintenance Tech for full time work in Akron, OH. This is a first shift position.

1. Equipment Inspection and Maintenance:

   • Regularly inspecting machinery and equipment to identify any signs of wear, damage, or malfunction.
   • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating parts, replacing filters, and cleaning components.

2. Troubleshooting:

   • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic issues with industrial machinery.
   • Collaborating with senior technicians to find solutions to complex problems.

3. Repair Work:

   • Rrepair or replacement of faulty components, such as motors, belts, bearings, and sensors.
   • Following safety protocols and guidelines while conducting repair work.

4. Documentation:

   • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts replacement.
   • Updating equipment manuals and documentation as necessary.

5. Safety Compliance:

   • Adhering to and promoting safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
   • Participating in safety training sessions and contributing to the development of safety procedures.

6. Collaboration:

   • Working closely with other maintenance team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities.
   • Communicating effectively with supervisors and operators regarding equipment status and maintenance needs.

7. Tool and Equipment Management:

   • Ensuring that tools and equipment are properly maintained, calibrated, and stored.
   • Reporting any issues with tools or equipment to the maintenance supervisor.
