Job Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Industrial Maintenance Planner to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of Oxerra facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, planning and scheduling maintenance activities, and managing inventory and procurement of necessary parts and supplies.
This is hands-on role that includes the need to learn the plant equipment and work directly with the maintenance technicians, as well as the process operators.
Principal accountabilities:
· Always ensure full compliance with Oxerra and local site EHS and Business Conduct Policies, Guidelines and Rules.
· Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for machinery, equipment, and building systems.
· Use troubleshooting skills to support resolving equipment related deviations and problems
· Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and inspections to minimize downtime.
· Work with production and operations teams to prioritize work orders and schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
· Order and track parts, tools, and supplies needed for maintenance and repair tasks.
· Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and ensure critical components are always in stock.
· Liaise with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery.
· Maintain maintenance logs, equipment manuals, safety records, and compliance documentation.
· Work closely with technicians and contractors to execute maintenance tasks.
· Identify opportunities for improving equipment reliability, energy efficiency, and maintenance processes.
· Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring issues.
· Create PMs and work orders in maintenance management system
Requirements:
Knowledge, experience, and skills required:
· Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field ( but not always required).
· Experience in an Industrial or Chemical Manufacturing environment.
· 5 years of Maintenance Planning experience.
· Proficient in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
· Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, HVAC, and industrial machinery.
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
· Strong organizational and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Desire to learn and grow technical skills to keep current with new automation and technology
· Ability to give and receive positive and constructive feedback in a respectful and professional manner.
· Work in a self-directed team environment.
· Effectively communicate, resolve issues then move forward as a team to meet business and customer needs.
