Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to manage and coordinate all building and production maintenance-related activities at Actek Enterprises.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement and ensure compliance with all fire, safety, risk, environmental and health and safety regulations.
• Minimize machine downtime through optimum use of preventative maintenance program and best practices.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational problems on warehouse/production equipment and plan for and take corrective action; make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
• Make repairs to offices and property grounds as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up to date maintenance records.
• Utilize good housekeeping practices for a clean, organized warehouse and parts storage area.
• Shop spare parts and supplies to obtain best pricing considering quality, service, and equipment specifications.
• Actively participate in regular maintenance meetings with the Production Manager and supervisors.
• Complete all other duties and tasks which may be assigned.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

• High School diploma or GED
• Five years industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations for manufacturing industries.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.
• Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and CNC equipment
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematic.
• Strong fabrication and welding skills
• Ability to drive a forklift and scissor lift.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all
• Must be able to speak and understand Spanish
• Work overtime and weekends as needed.

Minimum Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
• Must be able to visually inspect machines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
