1st Shift Industrial Machinery Mechanic

First shift: Full-Time

Location: NH

Pay Range: $32–$35/hour

About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Industrial Machinery Mechanic to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, reduce downtime, and lead preventive maintenance initiatives. This is a hands-on, versatile role that combines mechanical, electrical, and fabrication expertise.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic).
• Lead preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Train and mentor junior mechanics (I–III) across all machinery.
• Partner with supervisors and team leaders to keep production running smoothly.
• Manage parts inventory and place orders.
• Lead and track projects, ensuring deadlines and safety standards are met.
• Support TPM/Lean initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Build and assemble safety guards, shelves, tables, and conveyors.
• Operate welding and fabrication tools (Stick, MIG/TIG welding knowledge a plus).
• Design and produce prototypes or small components with 3D printing.
• Work with plastics, including cutting, forming, and assembling components.
• Repair and maintain industrial sewing machines, specifically rotary hook computerized stitching machines. (highly valued)

What We’re Looking For

• 5–8 years of relevant mechanical and electrical experience.
• Technical degree in electronics, robotics, or related field.
• Trade school accreditation + Journeyman’s electrical license (a plus).
• Hands-on welding/fabrication skills. (a plus)
• Experience with 3D printing, design, and prototype creation is (highly valued.)
• Plastics fabrication experience highly valued.
• Ability to repair and maintain industrial sewing machines.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and long periods of standing.
• Versatility to move between welding, plastics, and machinery repair.
