Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) is currently hiring Industrial Field Technicians to join our team. The Industrial Field Technician is responsible for the operation of equipment/tools to provide industrial and/or environmental cleaning.

Global provides heavy industrial cleaning services to utilities, phosphate/ mining, chemical plants, pulp & paper, and manufacturing facilities, with specialization in hydro blasting and vacuum truck work. We provide customized solutions for sulfuric acid facilities, including preventative maintenance and repairs, and full turn-key turnaround services. We also offer a variety of waste processing and handling services to ensure that waste generated from client sites is collected, transported, and disposed of in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Arrive on time at the office or job site, in uniform, properly groomed, and ready to work.
- Set up job sites for vacuum truck and other environmental services, including equipment, tools, barricade tape, and tags.
- Safely operate high-pressure water-blast units to clean customer systems.
- Follow all GEIR safety standards and protocols.
- Participate in daily manual and practical activities.
- Perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects.
- Clean and maintain equipment before returning to the GEIR office.
- Communicate effectively with the Crew Lead or Field Supervisor regarding safety, quality, and integrity.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Ability to carry/move up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of performing manual labor outdoors in various weather and environmental conditions.
- Prior industry experiencerequired.
- Willingness and ability to work in confined spaces, elevated spaces, and hot, wet, cold, or foul-smelling environments during 812-hour shifts, often while handling vacuum hoses.
- Ability to use a respirator in environments with potential chemical or fume exposure; may be required to be clean-shaven.
- Willingness to work shifts longer than 8 hours and to respond to emergencies as needed.
- 24 years of hands-on experience with tools and heavy equipment .
- Ability to follow training and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to physically control industrial hydro-blasting and vacuum equipment.
- Basic mechanical skills .
- Valid drivers license with a clean 3-year motor vehicle record .
