POSITION SUMMARY

The Industrial Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and preventative maintenance of all industrial equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure within our Anderson, SC operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of our production processes and the overall integrity of our facility. The ideal candidate will be familiar with basic plumbing, basic mechanical, housekeeping, basic electrical, a willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic understanding of plumbing and tools used to fix plumbing issues
• Basic knowledge of electricity to chang lights and outlets as needed
• Ability to work on building structures (walls, doors, windows, vents)
• Self-motivated work ethic

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES

• Address facility-related issues such as plumbing, lighting, minor structural repairs, and general building maintenance
• Addressing water on floors using a floor scrubber machine
• Cleanup of Production areas
• Assist with maintenance support and projects as needed
• Other job duties which may be assigned in support of Production
• Accurately record all maintenance activities, parts used, and labor hours in the CMMS.
• Communicate effectively with production personnel, operators, and management regarding equipment status, potential issues, and completed work.
• Order and track parts from the parts crib as needed for repairs or cleaning.
• Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in equipment reliability and maintenance processes.
• Participate in root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures.
• Other duties as assigned.
