Industrial Engineering Technician
JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for an Industrial Engineering Technician reporting to the Industrial Engineering Team Leader, Assembly to help us support production. In this role, you will have a major impact in supporting the growth of the organization. You'll be at the forefront of helping BRP optimize production.YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Coach various internal clients and act as an agent of change for Lean strategiesWork in teams with industrial engineering and provide production support for related conceptsDevelop assembly lines with logical sequencing and optimized operationsSet out specific work instructionsFacilitate Kaizen workshops in order to optimize plants and introduce new modelsLink different information systems and tools in order to direct operators in their workDetermine assistance required by operatorsInfluence engineering in advance in order to standardize methods and achieve an effective mixed modelAssess variations for each workstation in order to take action and minimize themParticipate in PFMEA THIS ROLE IS A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in industrial engineering0 to 3 years of experienceMandatory to speak French, ability to communicate in English (in order to communicate with different suppliers, with other BRP sites located in the United States, Mexico and Finland, in order to consult standards available only in English, etc.).High proficiency with diagnostic tools such as VSM, material flow analysis, capacity analysis, etc.Knowledge of CATIA, 3DVIA and SAP softwareProficiency in industrial engineering techniques and value added conceptsAbility to conduct time and motion studies to optimize operational efficiencyStrong analysis and synthesis skills and independence Availability for day shift or occasional evening shift teams, as needed ACKNOWLEDGING THE POWER OF DIVERSITYBRP is dedicated to nurturing a culture that invites, connects, and propels the ambitions of people of all backgrounds, profiles, beliefs and experiences.
