Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to drive process optimization and lean manufacturing initiatives within our protein processing operations. This role is responsible for leading efficiency projects, reducing downtime, improving yields, and ensuring safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in poultry or protein manufacturing and strong expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and process engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and implement efficiency and cost-reduction projects.

• Conduct root cause analysis, workflow redesign, and process improvements.

• Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and project teams to meet goals.

• Develop and maintain labor standards, capacity planning, and layout optimization.

• Manage projects from initiation to completion—on time, within scope, and on budget.

• Ensure compliance with safety, ergonomics, and company standards.

• Provide technical expertise, reporting, and guidance on best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering ().

• 3–5 years’ Industrial Engineering experience, including 2+ years in a poultry or protein processing plant.

• Proven skills in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and project management.

• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and presentation skills.

• Ability to troubleshoot and redesign existing systems.
