Kreider Farms, the largest egg producer in Pennsylvania, is adding team members to several of our Maintenance teams at our Egg Processing locations. The Egg plants in need of traditional Technicians are located in Manheim, Mount Joy, Middletown, and Lebanon. We have state-of-art robotic packaging and palletizing equipment in our Egg Processing/Packaging plants. We are offering the potential for growth within our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Install and configure electrical and mechanical components of industrial machinery, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and control systems.
- Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance, including lubrication, adjustments, and parts replacement.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in equipment, utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance team members and departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electrical or mechanical systems is .
- Experience: 1 - 3 Industrial maintenance: mechanical/electrical required including electrical, general maintenance, robotics, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic work.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Electrical Technician, Mechanical Technician, etc.) are a plus.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to effectively diagnose and resolve issues.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for long periods, and work in various environments (e.g., confined spaces, heights).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and report findings.
