Middle Georgia Staffing Solutions is hiring for a Lead Industrial Electrician at a heavy industrial manufacturing site in Macon, GA. This long-standing facility has been producing high-quality brick products for more than 140 years and remains committed to craftsmanship, innovation, and workplace safety.
Position Summary
We are seeking a proven leader to oversee electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair operations throughout the production facility. The ideal candidate has strong industrial electrical experience along with the ability to lead and mentor a team while ensuring efficient and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of industrial electricians across multiple shifts and work areas

Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, control panels, and production equipment

Diagnose issues with motor controls, sensors, PLCs, VFDs, and automation systems

Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and company safety programs
-
Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime

Delegate work efficiently and provide on-the-job guidance and training

Collaborate closely with production and maintenance departments to meet operational goals

Complete accurate work logs, reports, and documentation
Qualifications
-
3–5+ years of industrial electrical experience required

Previous leadership, foreman, or supervisory experience strongly

Proficient with AC/DC motors, VFDs, PLCs, and 480V 3-phase power systems

High school diploma or GED required; technical certification
-
Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and direct others

Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check
Compensation

$25–$30 per hour, based on experience
