Industrial Electrician | Lansing, MI
Salary Range: $58,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and components.
- Perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance on industrial electrical equipment.
- Install, calibrate, and test new electrical machinery, control panels, and wiring.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Adhere strictly to safety regulations, electrical codes, and company policies.
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and installations.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience with industrial control systems (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs) and automation.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex electrical issues in manufacturing equipment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E).
- Experience with motor control circuits, power distribution, and three-phase industrial electrical systems.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with advanced PLC programming and logic modification.
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus).
- Certified Thermographer or experience with thermal imaging for electrical diagnostics.
- Hands-on experience with robotic electrical systems and controls.
