Field Electrical Superintendent – Industrial & Commercial (Full-Time Travel | $40–$45/hr + $7,500 Sign-On Bonus)

Are you an experienced electrical leader ready for your next challenge? Schaffhouser Electric Company, a fast-growing Veteran-owned industrial electrical contractor, is hiring a skilled Field Electrical Superintendent to join our full-time travel team. You’ll lead industrial and commercial projects across the Southeastern U.S., managing teams, driving safety, and delivering high-quality electrical installations.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead field operations for industrial and commercial electrical projects from start to finish

• Supervise and mentor crews of electricians and apprentices

• Plan and schedule labor, materials, and equipment

• Ensure job site safety and enforce electrical codes and compliance

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical issues on-site

• Maintain detailed project reports and daily logs

• Interface with project managers, vendors, and clients

• Represent Schaffhouser’s reputation for excellence on every site

What We’re Looking For:

• 10+ years of electrical contracting experience, 4+ years in a supervisory role

• Strong industrial electrical experience (commercial experience a plus)

• High school diploma required; apprenticeship or associate degree

• Strong knowledge of NEC, local codes, and safety protocols

• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to work alongside your team

• Comfortable with technology: tablets, mobile apps, Microsoft Office (Procore is a plus)

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Ability to travel full-time and manage rotating job sites

Compensation & Benefits:

• $40–$45/hour DOE

• $7,500 Sign-On Bonus
