Industrial Electrical Service Technician
Location: Cedar Springs and surrounding counties.
Type: Full time permanent employment.
Pay: up to $50 an hour + Amazing benefits package!
JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must have full and complete knowledge of how to best interpret and read project blueprint drawings.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and repair existing electrical wiring and systems.
- Must be self-motivated and show great initiative.
- Must be proficient in conduit bending, wire sizing and pulling, trouble shooting, basic controls and print / schematic reading.
- Maintain van inventory and van mechanical service
- Complete all the necessary paperwork for each project as required
- Professional demeanor with colleagues and customers.
- Production – Monitor and manage field production and implement paths to improvement. Quality vs. Quantity.
- Best Practices – Improve processes & policies in support of Company goals. Monitor adherence to current policies.
- Safety – Lead by example. Enforce and promote all of Hillard’s safety policies and standards.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Michigan Journeyman License.
- 3+ years’ experience in heavy commercial / Industrial electrical work.
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
- Ability to work on call rotational and overtime when needed.
- Must be able to commute to Cedar Springs and surrounding counties.
- Must have a Valid Driver's License.
