Industrial Electrical Controls Technician - Assembly

Well established Chattanooga, TN OEM has an immediate opening for an Electrical Controls Technician to become a part of our team! You will be responsible for the installation, testing, troubleshooting and repairing of electrical equipment and devices.

Responsibilities:

• Install and modify electrical machinery, equipment, and circuitry in industrial or commercial plants
• Diagnose cause of electrical or machine malfunctions
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to solve developmental problems
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Ensure all electrical components adhere to standards
• Reasonable overtime and out of town travel / work is a part of this job

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in electrical controls assembly (2 - 3 years minimum) but we would consider training for a person with the right background
• Familiarity with electrical schematics
• 24V Control and 480V Power experience
• Excellent root cause analysis skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Familiarity with AB controls is a big plus
