Job Title: Senior QC Technical Specialist
Location: San Jose, CA 

Summary:
Seeking an experienced Senior Quality Control (QC) Technical Specialist to ensure quality inspection activities meet internal and regulatory standards. This role involves hands-on inspection work, documentation, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement efforts within the medical device industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and update inspection-related work instructions.

• Perform and lead inspections in Incoming, In-Process, and Final QC.

• Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections.

• Use statistical sampling to guide inspection scope.

• Operate test equipment and fixtures; identify proper tools for inspection.

• Document results per GMP/GDP standards.

• Review and approve QC documentation (LHRs, DHRs, SLHRs).

• Investigate and close non-conformances.

• Manage calibration and maintenance of QC equipment.

• Support cleanroom monitoring and data review.

• Partner with engineering on inspection process improvements.

• Provide training and support to QC Technicians.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in a technical or scientific field ().

• 10+ years QC experience in the medical device industry.

• Strong knowledge of GMP, GDP, and regulatory requirements.

• Skilled in interpreting drawings/specs and using inspection tools (calipers, CMM, vision systems, etc.).

• Strong documentation and communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general software tools.

• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and collaborative.
