The Eklutna Import Site is recruiting for a General Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of a commercial and demolition debris disposal facility. Management of the snow dump and ancillary fill areas will also be required. This role oversees all aspects of site management, including customer intake paperwork, debris inspection, placement and sorting of materials, removal of unauthorized waste, and daily operational oversight. The Manager is also expected to operate heavy equipment to ensure materials are handled and compacted according to site plans, regulatory requirements, and environmental best practices. This role will also be instrumental in developing and implementing new operational systems, business processes, and revenue strategies for the expanding Import Site business line. The Manager will work closely with corporate leadership to identify opportunities for growth, develop actionable business plans, and execute approved initiatives to enhance long-term performance and profitability.
