Job DescriptionJob DescriptionImports Coordinator – 77373MUST have Customs Entry ExperienceSalary 60-70kLocation – Spring, TXDirect Hire Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Import Logistics Coordinator with strong knowledge of customs entries and international shipping processes. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound shipments, preparing and reviewing customs documentation, and ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit U.S. customs entries (including 3461, 7501, and related documentation)
- Coordinate international inbound shipments with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers
- Ensure compliance with CBP, FDA, USDA, and other applicable government agencies as required
- Classify goods using HTS codes and verify country of , valuation, and duty rates
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, holds, or clearance issues
- Maintain accurate import records and documentation in compliance with recordkeeping requirements
- Communicate with internal teams regarding shipment status, delivery timelines, and issues
- Audit entry documentation and assist with post-entry corrections if needed
- Support continuous improvement of import and logistics processes
Qualifications3+ years of experience in import logistics, customs brokerage, or international tradeHands-on experience with customs entries and import documentation requiredStrong knowledge of CBP regulations and import complianceExperience with HTS classification and duty calculationsFamiliarity with ACE, ABI, or other customs software Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics systemsExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
