Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support our import/export and CFS operations. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers, carriers, and internal teams, ensuring smooth coordination of shipments and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer inquiries related to import/export shipments and CFS activities
- Coordinate with carriers, truckers, warehouses, and customs brokers
- Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers
- Process documentation (BOLs, arrival notices, delivery orders, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company procedures
- Resolve issues, delays, or discrepancies efficiently
- Maintain accurate records in internal systems
- Support warehouse and operations teams with scheduling and communication
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or CFS operations
- Strong understanding of import/export processes is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software systems
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
