Import Compliance & Classification Specialist (LCB ) -- Hybrid

Our client is an established, family-owned customs brokerage/freight forwarder seeking two hands-on professionals to support import compliance and daily brokerage operations. LCB is but not required. This is not a manager/supervisor position—ideal for practitioners who love execution.

Responsibilities

• Execute HTS/HTSUS classification and prepare written guidance (including ADD/CVD, Sections 301 & 232)
• Advise on PGA/OGA requirements: TSCA, Lacey Act, FDA, USDA, FWS, Steel & Aluminum Licensing
• Write entries and assist teammates on filings; support ISF, eManifest, AMS compliance
• Research anti-dumping/countervailing issues and communicate findings
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and factors affecting import flows
• Collaborate with the brokerage team to resolve issues quickly and professionally
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years brokerage/classification experience
• LCB OR equivalent depth in entries & classification
• Proficiency with ACE/ABI; working knowledge of ISF/eManifest/AMS
• Strong written/verbal communication; detail-oriented, reliable, and team-first

Qualifications

• Broad commodity experience (textiles, steel, aluminum, office products, chemicals, food, watches)
• Experience with Protests, Post Summary Corrections (PSC), Prior Disclosures
• Exposure to C-TPAT and TSA certification processes
• Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Word & Excel
• Experience with ACE, FDA, ABI, USDA, CF7512, F&W/FWS workflows
• Knowledge of FTZ entries and warehouse entries (in/out)
