Import Compliance & Classification Specialist (LCB ) -- Hybrid

Our client is an established, family-owned customs brokerage/freight forwarder seeking two hands-on professionals to support import compliance and daily brokerage operations. LCB is but not required. This is not a manager/supervisor position—ideal for practitioners who love execution.
Responsibilities
- Execute HTS/HTSUS classification and prepare written guidance (including ADD/CVD, Sections 301 & 232)
- Advise on PGA/OGA requirements: TSCA, Lacey Act, FDA, USDA, FWS, Steel & Aluminum Licensing
- Write entries and assist teammates on filings; support ISF, eManifest, AMS compliance
- Research anti-dumping/countervailing issues and communicate findings
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and factors affecting import flows
- Collaborate with the brokerage team to resolve issues quickly and professionally
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years brokerage/classification experience
- LCB OR equivalent depth in entries & classification
- Proficiency with ACE/ABI; working knowledge of ISF/eManifest/AMS
- Strong written/verbal communication; detail-oriented, reliable, and team-first
Qualifications
- Broad commodity experience (textiles, steel, aluminum, office products, chemicals, food, watches)
- Experience with Protests, Post Summary Corrections (PSC), Prior Disclosures
- Exposure to C-TPAT and TSA certification processes
- Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Word & Excel
- Experience with ACE, FDA, ABI, USDA, CF7512, F&W/FWS workflows
- Knowledge of FTZ entries and warehouse entries (in/out)
