Position Summary
Purpose
Supervise and provide direction and guidance to Integrated Data Management System (IDMS)/ CAD support personnel to all Oceaneering project teams. Ensure productivity and quality targets are in place and met.
Duties And Responsibilities
Functions
ESSENTIAL
· Manage the input of wall-thickness data into IDMS databases, following on-stream pipework/vessel monitoring surveys in the region
· Manage the development of CAD isometrics or drawings for pipework and vessels
· Provide quality checks on data input/CAD drawings as required
· Produce reports from IDMS database for approval by engineers
· Provide weekly progress report on team’s productivity, broken down to individuals
· Produce, maintain and update the monthly reports
· Maintain and update the monthly plan of ongoing activities
· Manage the team’s rotation and leave, while maintaining appropriate records
· Provide regular updates on progress of ongoing works
· Act as the focal point for all IDMS related projects and liaise with the client as required
General

· Ensure that personnel identify with and achieve, the necessary Health and Safety performance standards associated with the relative risks to personnel and plant in their environment and daily work
· Ensure that business and HSE risk implications of integrity issues are clearly identified and assessed for consideration within the Oceaneering Integrity Management Team and communicated to the Client
Other
· Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems
· Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company
· Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises CAD/IDMS technician. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include on the job training, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and supporting the project manager with rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications and Training
· Extensive training and operation of NEXUS or other IDMS (E)
· Trained and fully familiarly with CAD sketches applicable to isometrics and general arrangements (E)
· HNC (or equivalent) CAD certification (P)
· Must be willing to undergo further training as required (E)
Experience
· Minimum 3 years of specific experience related to the job description (E)
· Must be familiar with QA/QC systems and procedures (E)
· Ability to manipulate and co-ordinate large volumes of data quickly and accurately (E)
· Able to work under own initiative with periodic management guidance (E)
· Ability to understand the concepts that originates the appropriate data (E)
